MARKING IN GENERAL READING TEST
There are 40 questions in General Reading and each correct answer is awarded with one mark. There are no half marks. After that the marks scored are converted to a band and then all bands in each section are collectively averaged to get the final band. Band scores for the listening test and the final band are given as a whole band or a half band. The rough convertible table is as under:
