What is SAT?

SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude test..

The top Universities of USA invites applications of potential candidates for advance studies. The SAT exam is entirely a paper based test required for admission to colleges in United States. SAT is conducted, managed, developed and administered by the College Board, which is a nonprofit organization and works on the principle of equity and excellence.

SAT has following sections –

  • Mathematics
  • Reading
  • Writing and language test

Sat Scoring Scale:

  • Mathematics section = 200-800
  • Verbal section(Critical reading, Writing & Language Test) =200-800
  • Essay is scored separately on a scale of 2-8
  • Overall SAT test score ranges from 400-1600
