MARKING IN GENERAL WRITING TEST

FOR TASK 1

This task is marked on a band of 1-9, depending on 3 areas of performance, which are:

TASK FULFILLMENT	COHERENCE & COHESION	VOCABULARY & SENTENCE STRUCTURE

Your final band for task 1 will be effectively an average of the three marks awarded in these areas. Task 2 writing marks are given much more importance, as compared to Task 1.However the examinee should focus well and write both tests aptly.
